We’re Matt and Stacey Keating, a husband‑and‑wife podiatry team with a shared passion for helping people move well and feel good in their bodies.

How LIFESOLES began

Our LIFESOLES journey started about 13 years ago, when we were running:

• 6 podiatry clinics, and

• Our own custom orthotic manufacturing lab

Day in, day out, we were designing and prescribing custom orthotics, and we kept noticing

the same problem in the wider market:

There were plenty of “off‑the‑shelf” insoles available, but:

• Most focused on shoe fit, basic arch pads or extra cushioning

• Very few actually targeted specific pains or worked on the real cause of pain – how the body moves

And almost all of them pushed the idea that one shape of orthotic can fix every foot.

From a clinical point of view, we knew this simply wasn’t true.

What we set out to create

We wanted an off‑the‑shelf range that:

• Felt closer to custom‑made orthotics

• Matched different types of foot and leg pain

• Supported the body at the movement source, not just where it hurts
